Footnotes | Extra-content

It’s not uncommon that when reading a text to find some of the most interesting passages aren’t in the main body but hidden away in footnotes. They’re a place for authors to say something they really want to, but didn’t feel was justified to have in the main text. This is the idea behind these texts.

Footnotes are smaller pieces, often additions to regular pieces but also may stand on their own. The difference is these pieces get right into whatever they are discussing, and don’t try to present a more cohesive analyses with an introduction and conclusion.

This allows me to get something out there without really working on the more polished elements. Readers with some knowledge of the topic or have read the original piece will see how it is relevant.
